As you all know, COVID19 is incredibly present in our current day to day lives, and we want to help your customers have access to information on how to manage the risks.

Hand Hygiene
We have been hearing this daily, but it is crucial. Respiratory viruses like COVID-19 spread when the virus gets into your body through your eyes, nose or throat. Most often, this happens through your hands – they are one of the most common ways that the virus spreads from one person to the next. It is important to clean your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds, and to avoid touching ones eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. Always wash your hands after blowing ones nose, coughing, sneezing, before preparing or eating food, and before/after providing care for a person who needs assistance.

Disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces.
While cleaning removes dirt and impurities from surfaces, it’s also important to disinfect areas after they’ve been cleaned to kill germs on surfaces. The CDC (Centers for Disease Control) recommends mixing ⅓ cup bleach per gallon of water (or 4 teaspoons bleach per quart of water). Examples of high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, lightswitches, toilets, grab bars, support rails, tables, desks and laundry hampers.

In addition to the surfaces listed above, your customers likely touch our products on a daily basis, most of our products have Anti-Microbial Powder coating; which prevents the spread of potentially dangerous microorganisms and suppresses the growth of harmful bacteria, mold and fungi. However, we still recommend to wipe down all of our products on a regular basis, the frequent cleaning will not reduce the anti-bacterial properties.

For our products that include grips, an accelerated hydrogen peroxide can be used to clean and disinfect the grip. We recommend avoiding cleaners that are grainy (such as Comet) because the granules may get stuck in the porous surface.
