The SuperPole™ System G2 features new parts that are not compatible with older versions of the SuperPole™ System. Risk of injury if parts are mixed between old and new systems. See below for specifications.

The SuperPole™ System G2 is compatible with all HealthCraft add on kits and accessories.

WHAT'S OLD?

1. Metal Cover Sleeve with Plastic Top Bushing was used to cover the extension screw when the pole is installed.

2. Extension Screw was threaded all the way to the bottom. It fit into the metal bottom bushing.

3. Metal Bottom Bushing fit into the base plate and centered the extension screw.

4 . Base Plate was 3/4" in height, with a larger centering hole (1" diameter).

5. Base Plate Rubber on bottom of base plate is flat.

*NOTE: These parts will be available for order to service older poles.

WHAT'S NEW?

1. NEW! Plastic Cover Sleeve is dent and corrosion resistant, easier to clean than old style (painted steel) cover sleeve.

2. NEW! Extension Screw with non threaded section at bottom, and stem on bottom of screw that engages into hole in new base to center it.

3. NEW! Base Washer installs onto the stem of the new extension screw, allows extension screw to turn smoother.

4. NEW! Base Plate with lower profile is even more "toe friendly". Smaller centering hole (0.5" diameter) accepts stem of NEW extension screw.

5. NEW! Base Plate Rubber on bottom of base plate is ribbed for better grip.

6. No Top or Bottom Bushings reduces potential to misplace loose parts.

COMPATABILITY

The SuperPole™ System G2 features new parts that are NOT COMPATIBLE with older versions of the SuperPole™ System:

1. The new SuperPole™ G2 should not be used with an old base plate. The stem on the bottom of the SuperPole™ G2 extension screw is much smaller (0.5" diameter) than the hole on the old base plate (1" diameter). As a result, the pole will shift back and forth considerably. This is not a safe way to install the pole.

2. The new SuperPole™ G2 should not be used with an old base plate with an old bottom bushing. The stem on the bottom of the extension screw will not sit securely into the larger old bottom bushing socket.

3. It is not possible to use an old pole on a new base plate. There is no way to secure the pole to the new base, as the old pole has no stem on the bottom of the extension screw.

CHANGES TO PACKAGING

1. The new plastic cover sleeve will now be packaged on the SuperPole™ G2 pole, in the pole shipping tube.

2. The equivalent to the bottom bushing (the base washer) will be pre-installed on the bottom of the extension screw.

3. The o-ring is no longer included.

4. The top plate, base plate, parts pack, etc. will still be found in the parts box.

ADDITIONAL LABELLING

We will be applying several labels (for approx 6 months) to ensure people are aware of the changes.

1. NEW LABEL on pole shipping tube (indicating new SuperPole™ G2 pole - only use with G2 parts box).

2 . NEW PAGE INSERT inside pole shipping tube - the inside plastic sleeve of the pole will be sealed with a second label.

3. NEW LABEL on parts box "contains new SuperPole™ G2 base design - ONLY use with G2 pole".

4. NEW PAGE INSERT inside of parts box - surrounding the new base plate - "new base plate - only use with G2 pole".

5. NEW LABEL on the product will be located on the plastic cover sleeve (indicating new SuperPole™ System G2).
