HealthCraft Products Inc. is a young and dynamic Canadian company founded to design and manufacture highly innovative home medical equipment that enable elderly and physically challenged persons the option to live independently in their homes.

Based in Ottawa, Canada, HealthCraft was founded in 1994 by a group of individuals with over 50 years of combined experience in home medical equipment. The key personnel of the company bring backgrounds in the areas of durable medical equipment retailing, occupational therapy, and engineering design.

HealthCraft was founded to realize the development of several product concepts based on direct feedback and comments from thousands of patients, care-givers and dealers who use or work with home medical equipment. As a result, HealthCraft has a strong consumer vantage point as to the requirements and viability of new home medical products.

The company's initial product is known as the SuperPole™ System. The SuperPole™ is a patented modular support system which provides standing, and transferring assistance to the elderly and physically challenged. The unique nature and clean design of the SuperPole™ System has helped propel it quickly to the number one selling transfer aid of its type in Canada as well as being honoured with the coveted best new product honours at the industry leading trade show, MEDTRADE.

One of HealthCraft's key assets is their award winning "D-TEAM" design group. Supporting this group is an in-house fully equipped prototyping machine shop, cycle testing lab, computer aided design, and desktop publishing equipment.

HealthCraft's products are distributed in Canada and the USA through a growing base of retail dealers.
